I have uploaded new ini files for BoC-Bot 1.2, to use the new config tool. Grab them on the Downloads page.
11/20/01 - OOoops, I did it, again ?
The MBL 14.3 update uploaded yesterday contained a wrong exe file (it says 14.2 when you launch it). So, I've just uploaded the correct 14.3 upgrade (at 9:00 AM CET), and you must now d/l it again.
Really sorry for this problem.

Back on the scene !
Many new upgrades where released while I was away, so now I have to plan a big MBL update. I hope I can make it this week (not sure about that).
Once this will be done, I will focus on some new mods for MBL 14.0. I Don't know yet which ones will be supported, as I have to download and test a lot of them, and this will take me a lot of time, so don't think about any major MBL release before mid-september.
- Upgraded for Boc-Bot 2.2b
- Upgraded for Parabot 0.7. Added support for DeathMatch Classic
- Upgraded for HPB_Bot 1.7
- Tested with Akimbot 1.3. Added support for Opposing Force
- Tested with RockCrowbot 0.4b
- Tested with OddBot 1.8.1
This will be the last update before a while, cause I'm flying to London in few days, and won't be back until mid-august. VACATION TIME RULEZ !!

07/13/01 - Version 13.0 - "MBL goes to Crystal Lake"
Long time without seeing any new mods in MBL. Here is something to fill your needs (I hope) :
- Added support for DeathMatch Classic 1.0, with HPB_Bot 1.6a and PlBot 0.97
- Added support for Gangsta Wars 2.7

- Fixed names and skins selection with P.O.D.Bot 2.0
- Fixed another *bug* with Win2K
I have tested
Wizard Wars 1.0. It's really nice, but the
WizardBot doesn't work anymore. So if you only play WW with bots, stay stick with beta 2.8
I have also tested all the mods (not all bots, though) with HL 1.1.0.7. Everything was fine, except for TFC where I've experienced some troubles, like bots not spawning in the beginning of the game, or sudden crash while playing. Seems that TFC bots need a little upgrade.
Some words before you rush to the Download page, this release is HaUnTeD ! You've been warned... Muaaaaahahahahhahhahaa........
Hi guys. I have some good and bad news for you today. The bad one is that the new MBL release is delayed, for many different reasons. The good one is that I am planning a BIG release, with three (maybe four) new mods. It should (*must*) be out next week. Stay tuned...
Just few words to say that I am still alive, and still working on MBL. The new release should be out by the end of this week, or in the beginning of the next week, depending on the release of the new Boc-Bot, which should support Day of Defeat.
In case don't know yet, HL Paintball is dead. The "Better Than Blood" team is currently making another HLPB, but nobody knows when it will be ready.
- Upgraded for PODBot 2.0. The bot names are randomly chosen (it should be fixed in future release), and the skin selection only work with in-game POD menu.
- Upgraded for BoC-Bot 1.8
- Tested with FlamerBot 1.3
- Tested with GoldenEye 1.9b
- Tested with OddBot 1.7. I didn't still add support for Deathmatch, due to some troubles.
- Tested with Wanted 1.5
- Tested with HPB_Bot 1.5
- Tested with BoC-Bot 1.8. You can't modify the skills settings yet, because I must update the code, and I won't release any upgrade before P.O.D.Bot 2.0 is out.
- Upgraded for JoeBot 1.4. Grab the new INI file on the download page. Carefully read the install.txt to check Joebot's files locations, because its readme is partially wrong with the installation process.
- Tested with Flamer Bot 1.2
- Tested with HPB_Bot 1.4a
- Tested with TeamBot Beta 1.1
- Upgraded for Parabot 0.6, and added support for HolyWars.
- Upgraded for HPB_Bot 1.4
- Tested with FoxBot 0.68
- Tested with Boc-Bot 1.7
- Tested with Akimbot 0.7
- Added an option to delete map configuration file in the Editor window.
- Fixed the bot creation bug with JoeBot.
Rocket Crowbar v18 is out, but the bots are definitly removed, due to some problems. I keep the support for
v17, but I don't know how long it will last.
Someone reported me a bug with the bot creation system in JoeBot. I didn't noticed it before because all my bots are already created. If you want to create new bots, use another bot than JoeBot, then swith back to JoeBot before launching the game. I will fix the bug this week-end, and release an update on monday, including some new settings for FoxBot 0.68.
- ACTION HALF-LIFE : Added support for Akimbot 0.6 and Flamer Bot 1.1
- COUNTER-STRIKE : Added support for CS_Bot alpha 2.
- HALF-LIFE DEATHMATCH : Added support for Parabot 0.5, HPB_Bot 1.3 and Teambot beta 1.0. Rebuilt all the code to gather all different bots. Your previous bot configurations will be lost, but the personalities you'll recreate will work with all DM bots.
- OPPOSING FORCE : Added support for Teambot beta 1.0.
- TEAMBOT beta 1.0 : Due to the new personality settings, I've removed the bots settings, and replaced them by a button linked to the Teambot Control Center.
- Upgraded for Wanted 0.11
- Tested with JoeBot 1.3
- Tested with OddBot 1.6.2
- Tested with Front Line Force 1.3
- Removed support for Botman's Bot #10, since HPB_Bot is far better.
Due to the last code updates,
MBL now MUST be installed within your Half-Life or Counter-Strike folder !!! If you installed previous releases in another folder, some things won't work, so desinstall and reinstall properly.
And if you download the MBL 12 upgrade, be sure to run
Upgrade-MBL12.bat after dezipping all files to move your existing files to their new locations.
- Added support for Day of Defeat, with BlitzBot 2.05a.
- Added support for JoeBot 1.2.2 with Counter-Strike. When the game switches the map, the bot don't automatically respawn. You must type 'exec joebot/bot.cfg' at the console to get them back.
- Added support for Boc-Bot 1.45 beta with Counter-Strike. The bot don't spawn on the first map, you must type 'exec bot.cfg' at the console.
- Upgraded for Action HL beta 4. It's the same bot code as previous versions, so don't expect miracles. At least, you can practice with stunts and Kung-Fu ! For my part, I will wait for the bots that Rich "Jumbot" Whitehouse is currently coding.
- Tested with TeamBot 5.1.
- Tested with HPB_Bot 1.3.
- Tested with FLF 1.2a.
With three new mods in less than a week, I hope you'll be happy :) Anyway, I'll be on holidays for two weeks, so don't expect any MBL update for a while. Plus, I have to rebuild all my code for HL Deathmatch, and that will take me some time.
- Added support for Opposing Force 1.1.0.6 with HPB_Bot 1.2.
- Added support for Holy Wars beta 1 with HPB_Bot 1.2.
- Upgraded for Scientist Hunt 1.2.
- Upgraded for TeamBot 4.5.
- Added support for Teambot 4.5 with FLF & TFC (you'll have to find/make some waypoints).
- Tested with Realbot beta 2.2.
- Redone model pics for TFC.
Some of you may know that I was waiting for Blitzbot 2.0 before releasing a new MBL version, but due to lack of waypoints, my Blitzbot tests were quite short. And I need to get DoD 1.2 before going further, and that will take me some days. So, I prefer to give you MBL 10 as this, instead of delaying again and again.
I've just changed the splash screen. Hope you'll like this new one. For those who want to now, the map I used is de_avalley for CS.
- Upgraded for GoldenEye 1.9. The bots now automatically spawn only in pure deathmatch mode. That's why I've added a "bind key" feature to manually create the bots when the game starts in other modes. And because the bots still don't know how to join a team, the ge3 maps won't appear in MBL.
- Added support for TeamBot Alpha 3 (CS).
- Added bot names editor (in the 'File' menu).
- Tweaked the random name selection. No more duplicate name until all the names in bot_names.txt have been used.
- Added a Spawn Counter for CS, FLF and TFC, where you can set the number of bots to spawn in the game, whatever the number of bots you have in the bot list.
Waow, 100.000 hits in one year !. Quite amazing, that wasn't expected :)
- Upgraded for HPB_Bot 1.2.
- Upgraded for Odd_Bot 1.5.
- Upgraded for NN_Bot 1.2.
- Upgraded for Pl_Bot 0.952.
- Upgraded for RealBot beta 2.1.
03/19/01 - More patches news
I have tested all MBL mods with the HL patch 1.1.0.6, and I was impressed to see that everything worked fine. And the mapcycling problem with Counter-Strike is solved. Unfortunatly, it doesn't correct the speed and spectate bugs. So, the working bots for CS at this time are : P.O.D Bot, RealBot, PlBot, Android, Rambot and Swatbot.
I will wait until the end of the week for any other bot updates, and I'll release a new MBL upgrade then.
03/15/01 - More patches news
It seems that the mapcycling problem with CS 1.1 *should* be corrected by the HL patch 1.1.0.6. I won't have the time to make some tests tonight, so I will give you a complete report on monday.
In the meantime, PlBot has already been upgraded for CS 1.1.
03/15/01 - THE NEW PATCHES
- I've uploaded new INI files for Odd_Bot 1.4. Get them on the Downloads page.
- I've tested Counter-Strike 1.1 with all supported bots. Well, this is not good :
- P.O.D Bot and RealBot run fine, but the game hangs before it changes the map.
- Android, Rambot and Swatbot start, but the bots are really dumb, and once again, the game can't cycle the map.
- AgbBot, Bobabot and NNBot are infected by some kind of rabbit disease, because the bots run at such an incredible speed that it is unplayable.
- Knifebot and PlBot are not better, because the bots don't join any team at all and stay in spectate mode.
Yes my friends, once again a new release ruins all the work of the coders. And to make the things worst (could they be ?), I am currently downloading the new HL patch 1.1.0.6, and I guess it will mess up some other mods.
If you don't play online, I suggest you to stay with HL 1.1.0.4 and CS 1.0 until all the bots and mods you need are officially compliant with those new upgrades.
- Re-added Rho-Bot 1.0, since it is now fully compliant with HL 1.1.0.4. Welcome back !!
- Upgraded for HPB_Bot 1.0.
- Removed support for Hot_Bot, due to project stopped.
- Upgraded for Scientist Hunt 1.1.
- Now, you can start a dedicated server with MBL (see the 'Options' menu).
I've tested Front Line Force 1.2 with the current bots : HPB Bot works fine (as always). Oddbot runs too, but the bots don't capture the points. Hot_Bot crashes half of the time, so it will be removed from MBL in the next release (his author has gave up the project), and Agrobot doesn't even start.
Seems we'll have some updates in the next few days.
- Upgraded for NNBot 1.1.
- Upgraded for PlBot 0.92.
- Upgraded for Realbot beta 2.
- Upgraded for ABot beta 7. The bots spawn fine, but I've removed the map configuration feature because that deosn't work.
- Tested with FoxBot 0.67. Beware, Abot and FoxBot use the same name for the chat file (bot_chat.txt), but with different formats. So be sure to manually replace it by the good file regarding the bot you're using. This should change in the next FoxBot release.
I've just uploaded a new ini files for FoXbot 0.66. Get them on the Downloads page.
- Upgraded for HPB_Bot beta 4.2.
- Some bugs fixed for CS Retail and Deathmatch mods.
- Upgraded for OddBot 1.3, with multiple chat files editing, and map config support.
- Upgraded for ABot beta 6. There is a new bug, as the bots don't spawn automatically. Use "addbot" in the console until the next release.
- Added support for FoXBot 0.6, for FrontLine Force and TFC. It uses the same waypoint files as HPB_Bot, so don't worry to replace your existing files.
- Added support for Hot Bot beta 1 for FrontLine Force.
Get the new INI files on the Downloads page.
There is a problem with MBL and Oddbot, as the maps don't appear. That's because I have put wrong files in the install archives. I've uploaded the correct files as a patch, and you can get them on the Download page. I've also rebuild the install files..
Here we go again...
It's my birthday today, and to celebrate this, I offer you a new release with 4 (yes, four !) new mods :
- Added support for The Gathering 2.3. I didn't have enough time to add all the things I've planned. More to come in next releases.
- Added support for GoldenEye 1.8. The bots don't know how to join a team, so don't use the teamplay mode, or ge2 and ge3 maps. That means you can only play pure deathmatch.
- Added support for Wanted HL 0.1. For owners of the last HL Platinium pack.
- Added support for Wizard Wars 2.8. Sometimes the game crashes when the map changes, and I really don't know why.
- Added OddBot 1.2 for FrontLine Force and TFC.
I know many people are waiting for Wasteland, but the only available bot at this time is in a too early stage to get my attention. It should be at the first place for MBL 10.
- Upgraded for Counter-Strike retail CD.
- Upgraded for P.O.D. Bot 1.4x, PlBot 0.80 and RealBot Beta 1.
- Tested with BobaBot 3.1a. Now, it supports mapcycling again.
- Removed support for Redubot. Four months without any update, and the website is gone in the Warp. Here begins the Survival of the Fitest(s).
- Added new Skills Tweaking feature for P.O.D. Bot and FireBot.
- Improved GUI, only installed mods appear on main screen.
- Added a FAQ in the install archives for all newbies keeping asking the same questions again and again. It is also available from the menu on the left.
This is the last release for this year. The next one will probably have one or two new mods.
Happy New Century, Happy New Millenium. Cheers all, C U next year.
- Upgraded for P.O.D. Bot 1.4
- tested with Abot beta 5.1
I will be deeply busy in the real life during the next few weeks, so I don't think there will be another release before next year. Please, don't waste your time telling me that [place your favorite bot here] has been upgrade to the 25.329 version. I will see it by myself. And I will make any required updates if I have the luck to get some free time.
- Added support for Front Line Force 1.1 with HPB_Bot beta 4.1 and AgroBot 1.3. Agrobot is not really stable yet with FLF, use it carefully.
- Added Agrobot 1.3 for Counter Strike.
- Added new settings for PlBot 0.73.
- Tested with BobaBot 3.1 and SWAT Bot 3. They don't support mapcycling anymore !!
- Added a button to create random bots. It uses a file called bot_names.txt located in MBL directory. It's the same format as HPB_Bot's name file, so you can replace it by your existing one.
- Allowed multiple selects in maps/bots lists.
AAAAaaaaaarghhh. May the Cenobites take my soul. I have let a bug infiltrate the release of yesterday. If you've played with CS on de_maps, then you may have noticed that the C4 timer was really fast. I have upgraded the archives this morning. So, If you've already downloaded the 7.4 version before today 9:00 am CET, I recommend that you download it again. All my apologies for the inconvenience.
- Upgrades for Abot beta 4 and RealBot 2.1.
- Tested with AgbBot 0.78 and HPB Bot beta 4.1.
- Added some new stuffs, and fixed some glitches here and there.
- Redone model pictures for CS and TFC.
- A new release of Scientist Hunt is on its way. Expect another MBL upgrade when it will be ready.
- MBL 7.3 tested with PlBot 0.51, SwatBot 2.0 and HPB_Bot beta 3.1.
- The last realease of SWAT Bot 1.5 has been successfully tested.
- I have added a Mailing List section, where you can subscribe to automatically receive all the news from this site (check the menu on the left).
11/16/00 - Version 7.3.0.1
- I have uploaded new ini files to make MBL 7.3 compliant with PlBot 0.4 (CS) and Abot beta 2 (TFC). Get them on the Download page.
- To prepare future MBL releases, I have put a Poll page where you can vote for the next mod you wish to see added (check the menu on the left).
- All bots have been tested and upgraded for CS 1.0. Only RamboT didn't change, Paulo got some probs to fix his new release.
- Upgrades for Firebot 0.2d and FireArms RC 2.4.
11/11/00 - Counter Strike V 1.0
I wanted to install CS 1.0, but my installation file is corrupted :( So I have to download the whole thing once again, and I can't do that from home coz I have a toooo sloooow connection. I will get it monday.
Meanwhile, I have already grab the last releases of Android 2.2, NNBot beta 6 and P.O.D.Bot 1.2. From what I've seen in the readme files, MBL 7.2 should work with them. The new features of NNBot B6 will be added asap (proly by the middle of the week), but you can still play without them.
11/09/00 - Counter Strike V 1.0
From what I have seen on CS.net and the different bots forums, the last 1.0 CS release screwed up everything. It seems that only P.O.D.Bot works with it, but it's very buggy. I think there is a kind of revolution amongst CS players against this release. Well, whatever. If, like me, you don't play CS online and only use bots, just stick on the beta 7.1 until further informations !!
- Solved the problem for Win2K. As I didn't had much time for testing, please give me some feedback on this.
- Added Abot for TFC. Warning : this bot use the same extension for its waypoints as HPB_Bot. This will change in the next release.
- Upgrade for Firebot 0.2c. Now the bots spawn fine on the first map, join the game and shoot when the map changes. No more key binding.
- Upgrade for P.O.D. Bot 1.1
- Tested with NN Bot Beta 5, AgbBot 07 and PlBot 0.33.
- Added some new params for CS and TFC..
- Bobafett is giving up BobaBot. If I don't get any feedback to keep it in MBL, it will be removed in the next release. The good new is that he will work now on bots for Science & Industry, a really cool mod. Good luck man...
- Added a new feature in the 'Options' menu, where you can add any console commands. That should resolve the problems when users on low-end systems can only play with 4 bots. For exemple, if you only have 32Mb of RAM, add '-heapsize 20000' (without quotes). As I don't have this kind of problems on my machines, please give me some feedback to know if that helps.
- Jumbot has been upgraded to 2.4. It seems that there is a glitch with the Crowbar mode. Use it at your own risks.
- HPB_Bot Beta 2.1 and PlBot 0.3 has been successfully tested.
- Seems that MBL doesn't work on Win2K, I am looking for a solution.
- P.O.D. Bot has been added
- S.W.A.T. Bot has been upgraded to 3.4
- HPB_Bot Beta 2 has been successfully tested.
- HypdBot has been removed.
- DarkYouth, author of SwatBot, just warned me today that HypdBot is a rip from his own code. I have removed the link from the Contacts page, and it will be wipe out in the next release (probably monday or tuesday).
- I have tested PodBot, a really good one, it will be added in the next release.
- And finally, I've just got Jumbot 2.4. Many, many new stuffs, that means a lot of work. But I'll try to make the upgrade asap.
10/27/00 - Version 7.0 Alpha
Down on your knees, my bot addicted people !! Here there are : the bots for
Counter-Strike and TFC ;)
I've based my code on
NNBot and
HPB_Bot, wich are the best available bots at this time. But I've also included all known bots, trying to respect all the different settings. The most tricky thing is the skill level. While most of them use 5 different values, some others use up to 10, 20 or 100 different skill values, and sometimes the lower value is not the best skill. So, when you'll set your bots, keep an eye on the skills each time you play with a different DLL.
The only required things to play with the different bots are the DLL files, located in cstrike\dlls or tfc\dlls, and the waypoints files if the bots need them. Some bots use the same extension for their waypoint (.wpt), so check the bot's readme files for a list of supported maps.
And because all those bots are still in alpha version, many things are suitable to change in the near future. I've managed to handle most parameters in external files to avoid to modify the MBL code on each bot release, but I can't promise that you won't have to download a new MBL version each week, depending on the progress of the coders.
At this time, only Android, NNBot, Realbot and Redubot support the mapcycling. Be sure to set TimeLimit and MaxRounds to 0 when you play with the other ones. And if the bots don't spawn, that means you play with an unsupported map.
Here are some more news :
- MBL and all the mods have been tested with new patch 1.1.0.4. This patch added a new bug in Action HL where the bots sometimes spawn on the same point. And now, Rocket Crowbar supports the mapcycling.
- Firebot : I have added a manual setting for the bot's 'autojoin' feature, to bypass the "bots-don't-shoot-when-the-map-changes" bug. Leave this unchecked until the next Firebot release.
One last thing : from now, all bugs and problems reported in the Guestbook will be deleted without any answer. Use the
FORUM. You've been warned.
"You have lost your flag", "Red team has captured the blue flag", "Bomb has been planted", "Hostages has been rescued"... All the kind of sentences we've all been waiting for. And that's it. The last releases of HPB_Bot for TFC and NNBot for CS are fully working !!! OK, they need improvements and they are still buggy, but you can REALLY play with them (I've spent my all weekend testing them, and it was too cool). So I will now include them into MBL. The only thing is I will be very busy in the real life for the next two weeks, so don't expect any release too soon. And because they are still in beta, many things should change. So you have to be a little more patient.
My new forum is online now. Feel free to use and abuse.
I have found some glitch that I didn't noticed before (I know I should) : in some mods, there is a file named 'listenserver.cfg'. This file can override some MBL parameters (time limit, max. players...). There are two ways to bypass this problem :
- The longuest one : open both game.cfg and listenserver.cfg. Place a comment in listenserver.cfg in front of each value declared in game.cfg.
- The shortest one : rename listenserver.cfg to listenserver.bak. Note : this could have influence on how the mod will work.
This will be automatically handle in the next release.
- Action Half-Life 3.56 : this release is more a test than anything else, because there is a bug when you play with bots : the game crashes when changing the map. So be sure to set Time Limit and Frag Limit to 0. This should be fixed in the next AHL release.
- Firebot 0.2 : I have been waiting for a compliant Firebot version following the release of FireArms 2.3. Now, everything works fine. Note that you MUST have FireArms 2.3 to play.
- Rocket Crowbar 17 : That works on most of HL DM maps, but few may cause problems (all bots spawn on the same point). And there is the same bug as in AHL, the game crashes when changing map, so use the same recommendations for Time and Frag Limits.
- I have removed Rhobot from MBL, because it seems that nobody still play with it since the last HL patches. I got some news from Eric Bieschke, but I don't know if he will upgrade his mod. If he makes another release, then I'll put Rhobot back in MBL.
By the way, you may have noticed that I have revamped this webpage, mostly to make it easier to update. The big new is in the Downloads section, where now you can get the last update without downloading the full install.
I am currently working on both Action Half-Life and Firebot (for Firearms). I have almost finished the code, and I am making intensive tests. I could release them shortly, but I've found a bug in AHL, and there are some missing parameters in Firebot. So I will wait a week or two for upgrades, and if nothing comes, then I'll release them as they are.
I have also tested all known bots for TFC and CS, and I could work on them very easily, but I won't because bots still don't know how to play the rules, wich is the most important things. So we'll wait for a while...
BTW, I am planning to remove Rhobot from MBL, just because since HL 1.1, I don't think people still use it. If that's a problem for you, just tell me before it is too late. If I receive enough mails, I'll keep it. Otherwise ...
- YES, AT LAST, I've found the way to automatically start Half-Life with ANY mod and ANY map. So you don't have to crawl anymore through HL menus to start your game, or to use a bound key to load the first map on Phineas (thanx to Leon Hartwig who gave me the missing clues).
- upgrades for Jumbot 2.3 and Scientist Hunt 1.0.
OK, back from holidays (yeah thanx, Eurorock was great), just to find another release from Botman. So I have updated MBL to fit the new features. Now, all maps will start and work properly, and there is no more respawn problem in teamplay. Quiet cool. There is just a new glitch with the names of the bots, but that doesn't prevent you to play as well.
I have also added a model viewer for the teams, so you won't have to choose your teams blindly anymore (this was definitly annoying to me).
You may probably now that there are more and more bots for TFC and CS currently in development (HPB, Rambot, Android ... check them at
BotEpidemic). I will include them into MBL as soon as they will be in final release. You have to be patient, because they all are in alpha version for now, and it will take some time to have at least one of them perfectly working.
- Here it is, the new release with Botman 9. There are still two minor problems (see the readme file), but at least you can now make it work with MBL. This should be solved in a near future with the next release of Botman.
- Added some new parameters for the last versions of Jumbot and Scientist Hunt.
I have finished to add Botman 9, but I have the same problem I've got with Phineas : I can't select the starting map. Believe me, I've tried thousand different configurations and command lines, but nothing works. I've asked Botman's author to add this kind of parameter, and I don't really want to release the update if you have to do manual settings outside of MBL, because it's just not the purpose !
I have stopped the development for Action HL, as it's still in beta version since the patch 1.1. You (and I) have to wait for the final release, planned for september.
A last word about Rho-bot. The author has disapeared in the Warp, so I don't think we'll see an update for the last HL patch. I keep Rho-bot in MBL for now because maybe there are people who still play with a previous version of HL.
06/14/00 - Half Life 1.1.0.0
I have tested the patch with MBL and Jumbot 2.0 and Phineas 0.22. Everything worked fine. The new Scientist Hunt 0.85 has been released this morning. And if Eric Bieschke wasn't aware of the problem for Rhobot, then he is now.
06/13/00 - Half Life 1.1.0.0
It seems that the new patch for Half Life is incompatible with the mods source codes. I have just got it today, so I will test it tonight with MBL and the current mods. If MBL needs to be upgraded, I'll do it A.S.A.P (but I think it's only a mod problem). I know that Jumbot and Phineas are already compliant with the patch, so you can get the latest versions on their
homepages.
I now receive a lot of mails regarding any bots for TFC or CS. You have to know that no bot will be avalaible for those mods until their source code will be released. So, you have to wait for the final release of CS, and probably TFC 2, but I really don't know when. I am like you, desperatly waiting and checking all HL information sites. Now that it's said, don't bother me anymore with this.
- Implementation of Scientist Hunt 0.5 and Jumbot 1.8.
- Totally revamped GUI.
- Added editor for map configuration files (jumbot & scihunt).
I have just finished the implementation of Scientist Hunt 0.4, but now I have a big ressources problem, has the program is getting bigger. I must redesign the entire application to make it lighter in system memory. So don't expect any update until a couple of weeks (I could release it now, but you would have lot of toubles if you are on a low-end system).
I have received many feedback from many of new MBL users (thanks to all), and some report for so-called bugs ("can't find my jumbot maps when I start Half-life", etc) that are explained in the readme.txt. So, before complaining for a bug, please read this file ! I have also questions when half-Life crashes during the game. You have to know that if Half-life starts well, then the MBL parameters are correct. If Half-Life crashes during the game, check the "Close MBL at startup" option. If problem persists, then it's something else. Check the mods FAQ and NGs.
- First public release.
- Implementation of map comments, so you can add your own comments on each map (ideal number of players, does it work fine with bots ...).
- Tested with Jumbot 1.6 & 1.7, but I didn't yet implemented the map config files management.
03/05/00 - Version 3.0 beta
- Rho-bot v.1.0 implementation.
- Added Jumbot waypoint settings for editing waypoints files.
- Added map handle for Jumbot, so you don't need anymore to copy .bsp files in jumbot\maps.
02/20/00 - Version 2.0 beta
- Phineas v.0.21 implementation.
02/11/00 - Version 1.0 beta
